I'm just going through some results and since I don't have anybody else to share this with: what a vintage performance from the best 1.5 in the world! 19/6/6
Only game I watched competely was the USA - Netherlands one. I was really impressed by both teams to be honest. Really clear offensive philosophies. The brilliant piece of insight that I came away with was this: a lot of crisp ball movement and good outside shooting (USA) is an excellent offensive way to play. Being physically dominant and having a high percentage on your mismatch shooting attempts is also an excellent offensive strategy. But the upside of the latter is that the things that help you be good on offense, also translate quite well to defense.
If you can't use a physical advantage on defense, you'll at least have to execute well and have a effective strategy. Pretty much just giving up mismatches to Bo and Mariska whenever they want, is a risky choice in that regard. But it will be interesting to see what changes will be made next time they face each other. Because it definitely looked like both teams had a really strong start of the tournament.
Keep up the good work! I'd love to discuss some future games, so I'll see you soon in the comments
Thanks Mark! You're the real mvp
Haha, thanks dude! Would love to hear your thoughts on any of the games so far.

Great to see that there's at least one other person who has nobody to talk basketball with when James is busy! 😆
But yeah, huge game from Ismail, and all of Turkey actually.

I am too scared to guess, but it‘s nice to have your predictions to have a inner conversation with that😆
Like James said on the podcast, the whole point of predictions is that they're fun and it doesn't really matter whether you're right or not!
Any of my predictions that you really don't agree with?
I think, I only hope, that some games will be end up more close… Can‘t see dissapponted faces😅
